This is my second ship for the contest. I put some "laserbeams" on the ship to indicate where the turrets might be on this battleship.

Looks like a variation of the Caldari Caracal ... since you designate it a Battleship... perhaps his big brother.

Lovely detail and presentation. I will mention that the position of the "head" and "neck" give it a rather submissive posture, but maybe that's just my perception and not a universal conclusion.

thank you! ... when you look at an eagle gliding in the wind .... the shape from the side will look like this (head down). I just tried to put it into eve caldari style.

PS: my biggest problem is time :D

Yes. Definitely X-bomber. I was also thinking of doing something like the ship in the "Last Starfighter" but I love Sid Mead too much to do that.
